One of London's most famous abandoned tube stations will start family tours summer

For 10 years, the London Transport Museum has run Hidden London tours into abandoned underground spaces, including End of the Line trips to Aldwych tube station, which closed in 1994 after 30 years of reduced service. Previously, tours allowed anyone aged 10-plus but were geared toward adults, unlike the museum’s kid-focused atmosphere and free admission for youngsters. This summer, Aldwych tours are tailored for ages 10 to 14. The experience keeps access to original platforms, lifts, and the ticket hall of the disused station, while adding riddles, challenges, and hands-on elements. The tour lasts 75 minutes, and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult with ID required.
