South London family about to move into SEVENTH temporary home in under 6 years
Briefly

Ulienge and his family are facing imminent eviction, leading to their housing uncertainty and stress. They are currently living in temporary accommodation after being ordered to leave their rental home. The family has moved frequently, with Ulienge's children attending multiple schools and struggling to establish lasting friendships. The financial burden of travel to university adds to their challenges. Despite the upheaval, Ulienge emphasizes the importance of community for his children's future relationships and academic success, expressing heartbreak over their situation compared to his past in a war-torn country.
The stress and uncertainty of my housing situation has been keeping me up at night and I struggle to fall asleep. I stay up just thinking, every day is like this because I need to figure out what I'm going to do tomorrow.
In less than six years, two of Ulienge's children have attended four different schools and have only ever completed one full academic year at each of the schools.
You can imagine how heartbreaking this is for me, I never had this living in a war-torn country, I never had any of this.
Community is very important when you grow up because tomorrow when my kids reach university and they come back, they won't have friends from school.
