'A new lease of life': London's Annely Juda Fine Art looks to the future with Mayfair move
Briefly

Annely Juda Fine Art is relocating to Hanover Square after 35 years in Mayfair, marking a new chapter in its nearly 60-year history. Founded in 1968 by David Juda and his mother, the gallery is transitioning to new leadership under co-director Nina Fellmann, a long-term intern. The new space will feature exhibition areas including a former ballroom. The gallery plans to broaden its focus to include younger artists while continuing its dedication to established estates to cultivate artists' careers sustainably.
"We have a long lease, which really secures the gallery and the way we move forward into a new era," David Juda says. "My co-director, Nina, who's much younger than me, will also be able to continue into the future."
"Estates are a big part of the gallery, but it's also important to bring in new positions and new voices," Fellmann says. "With our younger or emerging artists, we want to keep them affordable and not explode their markets. For us it's about building an artist's career."
