"As many of you know, towards the end of 2025, Tina underwent major spinal surgery. While the operation has been a success, we have had to accept that it is simply too risky for her to continue working in this environment, as each attempt to return to work has caused setbacks in her recovery. After one particularly busy service recently, we realised that we needed to prioritise our health going forward."
"We are very proud of everything we have built and the memories created along the way with all of you. It has been an honour to work together as Mother & Son. This year, we also had a potential opportunity to expand which also made us realise that we need to be honest about where we are health-wise and prioritise our wellbeing going forward."
"This restaurant has been such a huge part of our lives, and we're incredibly grateful for every customer who walked through our doors, every celebration shared with us, and all the support the local community has shown over the years. So many of our customers are now people we consider friends, and we would love to stay in touch once we pass the restaurant on to whoever the new owners will be."
"Our final service will be Sunday 28th of June. Until then, it is business as usual at No. 3. We would love to welcome as many of you back as possible during May/June for one last meal, drink, and goodbye. We are looking for someone to continue the legacy here at No. 3."
Tina and Wayne are ending their time at No. 3 Wine Bar and Restaurant in Collon after ten years. Tina underwent major spinal surgery toward the end of 2025, and although the operation succeeded, returning to work has repeatedly caused setbacks in recovery. After a particularly busy service, they decided to prioritize health and stop working in the restaurant environment. They expressed pride in what they built and gratitude to customers, local supporters, and staff past and present. They plan to keep operating as usual until the final service on Sunday 28 June, and they invite customers to visit in May and June for one last meal and goodbye. They also seek new owners to continue the legacy.
