Fans meet Hammers legends at signings event in Romford
Briefly

Tony Cottee and Frank McAvennie, prominent West Ham legends, participated in a meet and greet at Worldwide Signings in Romford Shopping Hall on May 31. The event attracted numerous fans, some traveling great distances, eager to get shirts, footballs, and photos signed. Memorable acts included a fan having his leg signed for a tattoo and another bringing a seat from the now-demolished Boleyn Ground for signing. Both players were praised for their engagement, making the event a nostalgic celebration of the club's history.
Cottee and McAvennie were absolutely brilliant at the event on Saturday, and I thanked my team for helping to keep the queue moving and take fan photos.
James Veares, one supporter, went a step further and had his leg signed by Cottee so he can get it tattooed.
One fan, Jordan Downes, even brought his seat with him from the Boleyn Ground and had it signed by McAvennie.
It was a wonderful day yesterday with two of the original West Ham United 'Boys of 86'.
