The Starting Gate, a historic pub near Alexandra Palace, has reopened after a three-and-a-half-week renovation. This Grade II-listed pub has been refurbished to enhance its traditional aesthetic while introducing modern features such as a redesigned courtyard and updated guest areas. Originally opened in 1875 as a café, the pub retains much of its historic character. It now offers an extensive food and drink menu, including pub classics like fish and chips, and has created several new jobs post-renovation, welcoming guests back eagerly after the upgrade.
General manager Liam Basi said, "We are thrilled with the outcome of the renovations here. The pub is looking better than ever and we can't wait to welcome all of our guests back to enjoy it with us."
