Rio Cinema, established in 1909, is the longest-running cinema in the UK and is celebrating 50 years of community operation. The anniversary program, RIO FOREVER, will run from April to September 2026. It will feature a launch party on April 17, curated by Jeremy Deller, and a variety of events including a tribute to Clara Ludski, 35MM film screenings with filmmakers, and special presentations like Punch-Drunk Love and Purple Rain.
