London will host a full-day David Bowie festival at Ziggy Green cafe called Ziggyfest, running from noon to 1am on Saturday, 6 September at 1 Heddon Street, W1B 4BD. The main event is a Ziggy lookalike competition judged by Bowie's original collaborators, including Spiders from Mars drummer Woody Woodmansey and hairstylist Suzi Ronson. The winner will be crowned on the night and will take home a 500 cash prize, a Daisy Green Black Card, and a self-portrait by photographer Chris Duffy. The day includes a champagne brunch, a Bowie tour of Soho, and a conversation with Chris Duffy. Katie Puckrik and Chris Sullivan will host a silent auction of "money can't buy" items, with proceeds going to Magic Breakfast and Sarabande. Tickets for the main event are sold out, but fans can still enter the lookalike contest.
