I Built You a Tower is Death Cab for Cutie’s first album back on an independent label after 20 years on Atlantic. The album releases in a week, and the band will perform it along with older songs at an intimate Los Angeles show at Sid The Cat Auditorium on June 2, 2026. The event is phone-free, and tickets are non-transferrable, going on sale at 12 PM PT. The band also plays Outside Days in Denver on May 29, 2026, then resumes touring in July with dates alongside Jay Som, Japanese Breakfast, Nation of Language, Lala Lala, and Pool Kids. A clear purple vinyl variant limited to 500 copies is available for pre-order in the BV shop.
