Donacarney singer-songwriter to release new single inspired by former relationship

Peadar Connolly, based in Donacarney and originally from the Drogheda area, is releasing his second single, “The Feeling is Over,” on May 28. The track is described as a lush cinematic pop ballad written and produced with musician and producer Mitchell Keely, who is also Connolly’s former partner. Connolly frames the breakup song as a symbol of what endured after the relationship ended. He has been building recognition in Ireland and internationally, with music featured on RTÉ Lyric FM, BBC Radio 3, RTCG, and RTSH, and production projects recognized by Songlines magazine. He previously released “Codhláím go Suan,” praised as a breathtaking debut and covered across Europe, and he performed at Night Moves with coverage in the Drogheda Independent.
