Al Barr reunited with Dropkick Murphys on March 17th at the House of Blues in Boston after stepping away in late 2021 to focus on family matters. He performed several songs including "Worker's Song," "The Vultures Circle High," "Alcohol," and the band's signature anthem "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" alongside singer Ken Casey. The performance concluded Dropkick's multi-show Boston run, which included five concerts at MGM Music Hall at Fenway Park. One of those shows was a family-friendly afternoon concert that raised $60,000 for Franciscan Children's Hospital. The band will perform an acoustic set at a "No Kings" rally on March 28th before beginning a UK/European tour in June.
