Ministry of Sound will overhaul The Box in January 2026, reimagining sound, space and lighting. The venue will retire its Martin Audio system and install a custom four-point KV2 setup with SL412 tops and VHD2.21 and VHD2.16 subs for a more powerful, immersive listening experience. The DJ booth will be lowered into the crowd and rebuilt as a modular structure enabling multiple stage formats, including 360-degree setups, and will be surrounded by an elevated backstage area. Capacity will increase by about 200 people. A 9㎡ overhead light installation and new video and lighting design by Lucid Creates will produce constantly evolving visuals. Programming will intensify as the club marks its 35th year.
