Royal Mail has unveiled a set of ten stamps to celebrate the history and achievements of the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, established by King Charles II in 1675. The observatory was crucial in enhancing navigation with more accurate star charts and played a significant part in establishing the Greenwich meridian as the world's prime meridian. The stamps will be available for pre-order starting Thursday and for general sale from June 12.
