The people behind Printworks and Drumsheds have announced a brand-new riverside venue in southeast London
"Open-Air has been conceived as 'a roofless dancefloor shaped by bold structural interventions and open sky'. Broadwick promises top-flight sound and production 'to establish a new benchmark for outdoor music in the capital'."
"Set in a previously untapped part of the Greenwich Peninsula, against the awesome London skyline and looking onto the Thames, the new venue will offer a bespoke open-air stage and 'never-before-seen production [that] pushes creative and technical boundaries, designed to work with the surrounding architecture'."
"The six-date series kicks off on August 14 with Our House, a collaboration between Italian house trio Meduza (the most globally streamed Italian act of all time, no less) and acclaimed producer James Hype."
Broadwick Live, the promoter behind Printworks and Drumsheds, has announced Open-Air, a new outdoor music venue at Greenwich's Magazine location. Described as a roofless dancefloor with bold structural design overlooking the Thames and London skyline, the venue promises world-class sound and production to set new standards for outdoor music in London. The six-date summer series begins August 14 and features internationally acclaimed electronic artists including Meduza collaborating with James Hype, Josh Baker and Max Dean performing back-to-back, Soulection celebrating 15 years, Amelia Lens and Sara Lara in their first European back-to-back performance, and Purple Disco Machine. The final event on August 23 remains unannounced.
