Today Is the Worst: Another car crashes into Billy Corgan's tea shop
Briefly

Madame Zuzu's, the tea shop owned by Billy Corgan, was struck by a car for the second time in six months, though thankfully no injuries were reported this time. The shop's exterior suffered some damage, which Corgan documented on social media. Previous incidents left the shop more severely damaged, with injuries reported. Originally opened in 2012 and closed in 2018, the tea shop was relaunched in September 2020 in Highland Park, Illinois, offering vegan menu options. Corgan remains active in music, announcing a solo tour celebrating key Smashing Pumpkins albums.
Earlier today, there was an accident outside of Madame Zuzu's involving a vehicle that struck the front of the café. Thankfully, no one was injured. Thank you to everyone who checked in and offered support.
Billy can be seen taking the photo himself in the window's reflection. Can you believe someone drove into Madame Zuzu's again?
It was an honest accident... some exterior damage.
The result was far worse in October, when a red Mini Cooper crashed into Madame Zuzu's, injuring Billy's mother-in-law, with his son narrowly avoiding harm.
