Potential Tesla "affordable model" test car spotted anew in Giga Texas
Briefly

Recent aerial footage from Giga Texas reveals a unique test vehicle resembling a compact Model Y, covered and missing body panels and roof. This follows a similar sighting at the Fremont Factory last month, where another prototype exhibited the same characteristics. Tesla is gearing up for the production of more affordable models in 2025 but has remained secretive about the details. The test car could indicate a new direction in Tesla's vehicle offerings, possibly targeting larger market segments.
Interestingly enough, a rather similar test car was spotted at another Tesla plant, the Fremont Factory in California, last month.
The vehicle was under a car cover, but it was evidently missing its body panels and roof.
Tesla has been very secretive about the 'more affordable models' that it intends to start producing in the first half of 2025.
Interestingly enough, it seemed to be shaped like a Model Y, though it looked a bit more compact than another Model Y that was parked next to it.
