Holman, who had not pitched for the Dodgers' Minor League team, was optioned to the Tigers' Florida Complex League affiliate. He previously debuted with the Oakland Athletics, where he had a 4.66 ERA over 40 games. Holman was drafted by the Athletics in 2021 and was an All-Star in the Pacific Coast League in 2024.
