Summer League represents a vital opportunity for emerging players to begin their professional journeys. It showcases lesser-known talents who aspire to make a mark in the NBA, such as Ethan Taylor of the Lakers. He joins a roster with higher-profile players like Dalton Knecht and Bronny James after going undrafted in 2025. Taylor, a former Air Force standout, aims to seize the moment and inspire others from underrepresented backgrounds. In his senior year, he led Air Force in scoring, rebounding, assists, and steals, demonstrating his potential.
In the grand scheme of life, man, this is just a great and awesome opportunity. Not a lot of people from the Academy, and where I come from, have really gotten this opportunity.
During his senior season, he averaged 13.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.6 steals per game, leading Air Force in all four categories.
