Flight to California diverted airport after unruly passenger yells slurs at staff

A Breeze Airways flight from Norfolk to Los Angeles was diverted to an airport in Colorado after an intoxicated passenger verbally abused staff and brandished a skateboard. The passenger got into an altercation with flight attendants and managed to break free from restraints multiple times. Upon landing, police were alerted and restrained the passenger before removing him from the plane, where no injuries were reported among staff or passengers. He was taken into custody under the FBI’s direction and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
