"The burglary attempt happened Saturday afternoon at a home. The mother, who did not want to be identified, said she ran out for coffee and left her three young children and their grandmother at the home. She barely made it down the street when the grandmother called screaming and told her burglars were on the property. Screams coming from the home scared off the would-be thieves."
"Video shows the Mercedes hit the side of the sedan and jump the curb. Three suspects could be seen running from the area after the crash. Tire tracks at the scene show where the luxury SUV careened across the street before slamming into a neighbor's wall. Los Angeles police searched the suspects' car and found a wallet with a driver's license, a red crowbar and a walkie talkie tuned to the LAPD's radio scanner."

The burglary attempt occurred Saturday afternoon while the mother had briefly left three young children and their grandmother at home. The grandmother called, screaming that burglars were on the property, and screams from inside scared off the suspects. The mother made an abrupt U-turn, returned home, and rammed the suspects' parked sedan before they could enter. Video shows the Mercedes hit the side of the sedan and jump the curb; three suspects fled on foot. Police found a wallet, crowbar and a walkie-talkie tuned to LAPD; no arrests reported.
