His status suggests he is about a week away, with additional bullpen and live sessions needed before returning. Reddemann has missed six or seven starts, and UCLA has continued to win without him. Wylan Moss will start Friday and has gone 5-1, with UCLA winning all but one of his six starts. Angel Cervantes has stepped in as a freshman, including a start in UCLA’s Big Ten championship win over Oregon, and has been praised for his potential as a future starter. UCLA will also use other pitchers such as Michael Barnett to cover the rotation.

He said glancing at the the dinosaur next to him in the dirt helps keep him calm and focused. UCLA also will be relying on other arms, such as right-handed starter Michael Barnett, to stay afloat in Reddemann's absence."
