Keelon Russell, Alabama's five-star quarterback recruit, excelled in the spring game, completing 21 of 33 passes for 240 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. He led his unit to seven scores on nine drives. Backup quarterback Austin Mack, limited due to injury, completed 6 of 12 passes for 101 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Coach Kalen DeBoer noted Russell's increased reps due to Mack's condition. Russell's growth and confidence have been significant since last year, positioning him well for summer workouts.
