Puka Nacua, the Rams' star receiver entering his third NFL season, is not only focused on improving his game during organized team activities but also dedicating time to helping others. Recently returning from a trip to Samoa with his mother and medical professionals, he provided crucial education and testing on diabetes, a disease affecting his family personally. With changes in the Rams' receiver lineup following the departure of Cooper Kupp, Nacua is adapting to new dynamics with incoming leadership from Davante Adams as the offense evolves toward a Super Bowl contention season.
"To be able to go and improve the situation in the homeland was something sweet," Nacua said after the team went through a workout.
"Somebody who's played at a super high level his whole career - and the knowledge he has is something different from what we're used to, having Coop in the system a long time," Nacua said.
