"Wisely was claimed off waivers by Atlanta from the San Francisco Giants last September and appeared in four games with the Braves, going hitless in plate appearances but drawing three walks. The Orioles and Braves have had quite the cat-and-mouse of claiming and waiving pitchers in the last six months. Time will tell if Soriano, who has worked almost exclusively out of the bullpen, sticks with the Braves or not."

Wisely, 26, was claimed from the San Francisco Giants last September, appeared in four games with Atlanta, went hitless in plate appearances but drew three walks. Wisely and Vidal Bruján were both designated for assignment this week, and Atlanta may add similar reserve depth behind Nacho Álvarez Jr. and Mauricio Dubón.
