"The Athletic's Will Sammon reported All-Star free agent Kyle Tucker could make a decision on where to sign as soon as this week. Tucker is the biggest name on the free agency market during the offseason, and the Los Angeles Dodgers have been one of the most likely landing places for the slugger all winter. "Multiple industry sources suggested that a decision from Tucker, who turns 29 on Saturday, could come as early as this week," Sammon wrote."
"In 2025, Tucker hitting 22 home runs and 73 RBIs in 136 games while playing through a hairline fracture in his right hand. Before sustaining the injury at the beginning of June, Tucker had hit 12 home runs and driven in 44 RBIs while posting an OPS north of .900. He finished the season with a .266/.377/.464 slash line for a .841 OPS, and won a Silver Slugger - his second."
"As far as the size of Tucker's contract goes, Sammon reported the New York Mets offered the All-Star a three-year deal worth $120 to $140 million and FanSided's Robert Murray reported they had offered him $50 million per season. While the Mets are the only team reported to have made an official offer to Tucker, Sammon believes the Dodgers - as well as the Toronto Blue Jays - could move for him."
