Marlins Broadcaster Befuddled About Why Ronald Acuna Did NOT Charge the Mound After He Was Hit by Pitch
Briefly

During the final game of a three-game series at LoanDepot Park, Matt Olson hit a two-run home run in the third inning and Ronald Acuna Jr. was the next batter. On the first pitch to Acuna, Ryan Gusto threw a high, inside pitch that struck Acuna's elbow guard, prompting Acuna to take a few steps toward Gusto and exchange words. The dugouts and bullpens cleared but no fight ensued. Gusto maintained the pitch was unintentional, while Braves manager Brian Snitker argued the optics warranted an ejection; Snitker was ejected instead. The Braves won 12-1. Marlins analyst Tommy Hutton urged Acuna to charge the mound if he was truly angry.
In the third inning, Braves first baseman Matt Olson hit a two-run home run off starting pitcher Ryan Gusto. Acuna was the next batter; and on the very first pitch of the at-bat, Gusto threw a high and inside pitch right at Acuna's elbow guard. Acuna took a few steps toward Gusto and exchanged words with him, resulting in the dugouts and bullpens being cleared.
Gusto has insisted the hit wasn't intentional, but Braves manager Brian Snitker argued the optics of him hitting the very next batter after allowing a home run were enough to warrant an ejection. Instead, Snitker himself was ejected. The Braves went on to win 12-1. During the altercation, however, Marlins analyst Tommy Hutton wanted a much stronger reaction for him to believe he was truly upset.
