Manchester City completed a £64 million signing of winger Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth, with the 26-year-old set to be in the squad for the FA Cup third-round tie and possibly debut in the Premier League against Manchester United. Several top clubs, including Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal, showed interest before he chose City. Pep Guardiola praised Semenyo's versatility, pace and Premier League experience, noting he can play on either wing or as a striker. City remain linked with Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi amid centre-back injuries, but Guardiola declined to confirm further transfers.
