You know, you flick a switch and it's all going to be roses tomorrow. You can't run a club like Manchester United on kneejerk reactions to some journalist who goes off on one every week."
"It's not going to happen."
"We're local and they're the other side of the pond, Ratcliffe said. That's a long way away to try to manage a football club as"
Sir Jim Ratcliffe will not make a kneejerk decision to sack Ruben Amorim and plans to give the head coach three years to prove his capabilities. Amorim has been in charge for 11 months, has not won back-to-back league games, and Manchester United sit 10th in the table. United have collected 37 points from his 34 league matches, finished 15th last season, and suffered a Carabao Cup exit to Grimsby. The 3-4-3 formation has been questioned despite a summer net spend of about £170m. Ratcliffe controls football operations after purchasing 25% in December 2023 while the Glazers remain majority owners and geographically distant.
