Sources: Man Utd's Hjlund set for Napoli loan
Briefly

Manchester United have agreed a loan deal with Napoli to send striker Rasmus Højlund until the end of the season. Napoli will pay an initial €6m loan fee and must make the move permanent for €44m if they qualify for the Champions League. United are awaiting confirmation that Højlund has agreed personal terms with Napoli before finalising the transfer. Højlund has not played in United's first four games, last appearing as a substitute in the final preseason match against Everton in Atlanta. The arrival of Benjamin Sesko and continued omissions under Ruben Amorim prompted Højlund to seek regular minutes ahead of the World Cup; a Napoli move would reunite him with Scott McTominay.

If he agrees to join Napoli, he will link up with former United teammate Scott McTominay, who moved to Italy 12 months ago. Napoli are set to face United's neighbours Manchester City in the Champions League on September 18.
