Antonia Hylton, a 32-year-old journalist with an impressive career including Emmy and Murrow awards, will co-host MSNBC's "The Weekend: Primetime." She previously contributed to the Pulitzer-finalist podcast "Southlake" and authored a bestselling book on race and mental health. Hylton aims to balance her new co-hosting role with her investigative reporting duties focused on politics and culture. She feels fortunate to merge both aspects of journalism in her career and will continue reporting on critical issues throughout the week.
I consider myself incredibly lucky to step into this hybrid, best-of-both-worlds role. Monday to Friday I'll be dedicated to original and enterprise reporting for MSNBC.
The new show will air from 6 to 9 p.m. Eastern on Saturdays and Sundays, co-hosting with Washington Post columnist Catherine Rampell and MSNBC contributor Elise Jordan.
