Cullen and Jamie married a year ago and moved into a new house together. Their one-year anniversary was earlier this month. Cullen posted a black-and-white Instagram video of the couple dancing and announced Jamie’s death, calling him the light of her life and saying she loved him eternally. Jamie fell ill on the third day of their wedding in Italy, spent ten days in hospital, then underwent scans and surgery before Christmas that revealed a cancerous tumour. He had ten rounds of chemotherapy; after the tenth round he developed pneumonia that became sepsis and doctors informed the couple the cancer had returned. Tributes and messages of sympathy poured in.
