Despite growing skepticism towards institutions like government and religion, a significant 92% of Americans still hold some form of spiritual belief. This resurgence in spirituality appears to be a generational shift, with people seeking community and rituals to fill existential gaps exacerbated by the pandemic. Many individuals are dissatisfied with secular options and are returning to or exploring religious paths for support, particularly as they desire deeper conversations surrounding belief. The findings come from extensive field reporting that underscored a burgeoning spiritual hunger across the country.
