"In an era of permacrisis, what lifts your spirits? We're interested to hear from people about the small, everyday actions that have bought you joy when you've been feeling down. It could be starting a conversation with a stranger, taking a family walk, doing karaoke or spontaneous skinny dipping - the less expected, the better. Please include a sentence or two about why you were in a slump (perhaps it was after a bad break-up, or during a particularly stressful time at work?)"

Personal accounts of small everyday actions that restore joy during prolonged crises are sought. Examples include starting a conversation with a stranger, taking a family walk, doing karaoke, or spontaneous skinny dipping. Respondents are asked to include a sentence or two explaining why they were in a slump, such as a bad break-up or intense workplace stress, and to describe the action that helped. Responses may be submitted anonymously through an encrypted form that restricts access to the organization running the form. Provided data will be used only for the feature and personal data will be deleted when no longer required. SecureDrop is offered for true anonymity.
