What It Takes to Run Across Canada in 75 Days
Briefly

Sachin Latti, a Canadian veteran, turned to running during the pandemic to combat personal struggles and burnout. This unexpected path led him to embrace endurance sports, eventually becoming an ultramarathoner. His journey has not only facilitated personal healing but also allowed him to raise over $80,000 for mental health causes aiding veterans and first responders. This summer, he aims to run 100 kilometers a day for 75 days, traversing Canada, motivated by a passion for service and community support.
"Service saved my life," he says. Running gave him a new way to serve, one that helped him heal while helping countless others.
In just four years, he's gone from novice jogger to ultramarathoner, using the sport as a vehicle to raise awareness and funds for mental health initiatives across the country.
This summer, Latti will attempt his most ambitious challenge yet: running 100 kilometers a day for 75 days straight, crossing the width of Canada on foot.
I started bodybuilding for a number of years, and then around 37 I kind of transitioned out of bodybuilding and started doing jiu-jitsu.
