Dolphins' McDaniel, players react to Tua's remarks: 'That's not the forum to displace that'

Tua Tagovailoa publicly noted teammates were showing up late to players-only meetings after the Dolphins' loss to the Chargers. Coach Mike McDaniel said those comments were the wrong forum for a franchise quarterback and adjusted his earlier, more supportive remarks after gaining fuller context. Tagovailoa began addressing teammates directly between Monday and Sunday night in an effort to correct the situation. Other players acknowledged internal matters should remain within the team, with center Aaron Brewer saying team issues should stay between teammates. McDaniel emphasized the weight of being a franchise quarterback and learning from mistakes.
