Two people shot dead in what Miami police say is likely a murder-suicide

In a tragic incident near Little Havana, Miami police are investigating a shooting that left a man and woman dead on Monday morning. The shooting occurred around 8 a.m. at 42 Northwest 27th Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found both individuals with gunshot wounds, and paramedics pronounced them dead at the scene. Miami police spokeswoman Officer Kiara Delva indicated that while the incident appears to be a murder-suicide, investigations are still ongoing, and the identities of the deceased have not yet been disclosed.
"Homicide Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident," Delva said in a statement. "At this time it appears it may be a murder suicide case, however please keep in mind the investigation remains ongoing and details are subject to change."
The shooting happened at 42 Northwest 27th Avenue around 8 a.m. Arriving officers found two people with gunshot wounds, said Officer Kiara Delva, a Miami police spokeswoman.
