Bam Adebayo sustained a lower back injury during the second quarter of the Play-In game against the Charlotte Hornets. He fell while attempting to secure a rebound after LaMelo Ball's missed shot. Adebayo remained on the floor until a stoppage in play, with the Hornets leading 30-26 at that time. He walked gingerly to the locker room and did not start the second half. Adebayo had scored six points and grabbed three rebounds before his exit.
