"I want to let everyone know that, for personal reasons, I have decided to end my tenure as head coach of Inter Miami CF."
"First and foremost, I would like to thank the club for the trust they placed in me, every employee who is part of the organisation for the collective effort, but especially the players, who made it possible for us to experience unforgettable moments."
"I will always carry with me the memory of our first star, and wherever I am, I will continue to wish the club all the best moving forward."
Javier Mascherano has resigned from his position as head coach of Inter Miami for personal reasons. He took over in November 2024, achieving 27 wins in 47 MLS games and leading the team to MLS Cup victory in 2025. Under his guidance, Miami scored a record 101 goals in a single season, including 20 in the playoffs. Mascherano expressed gratitude to the club, staff, players, and fans for their support. Guillermo Hoyos will take over as the new head coach.
