Teen killed in Brickell stabbing remembered as model student, a friend full of life
Briefly

Dominic Ferrell, a 17-year-old senior at Miami Beach High, was tragically stabbed to death by a stranger while sleeping in a Brickell condo. The attack, described as senseless and reckless, is thought to have been committed by 26-year-old Kyrill Kehl, who may have been mentally ill. Following the assault, Kehl fell from a neighboring building, leaving the circumstances of the fall ambiguous. Dominic was known for his dreams and aspirations, including attending the University of Florida and owning a business, leaving a profound loss for his loved ones.
Dominic's life was taken from us-stolen in a senseless, selfish act. Someone else's carelessness and sickness ended the life of a young man full of dreams.
Police suspect Kehl, who had arrived in Miami from Arizona, was mentally ill and randomly attacked Dominic, who was sleeping in his father's condo.
