"I couldn't believe I'd hit it! I just about hit the treble 19 and then I was quite confident that the double 12 was going in. I couldn't stop smiling because I couldn't wait to tell my dad, even though I knew he'd be watching it. I've narrowly missed hitting one a few times so it was nice to finally hit one."
Beau Greaves, a 22-year-old darts player from Doncaster, made history by becoming the first woman to hit a nine-dart finish on the PDC ProTour. She achieved this perfect leg during her Players Championship 6 match against Mensur Suljovic in Leicester, hitting consecutive 180s before finishing with a double 12 on 141. Despite the overwhelming moment, Greaves composed herself to win the match 6-5 in a final-leg decider. She has established herself as a dominant force in women's darts while also competing successfully against male players, including reaching the World Youth Championship final after beating Luke Littler.
