Belgian police arrested two suspects in Antwerp as part of an investigation into attempted terrorist murder and participation in a terrorist group. Prosecutors say there are indications the intention was to carry out a jihadist-inspired attack targeting politicians, including Prime Minister Bart de Wever. Searches of suspects' homes uncovered a device resembling an improvised explosive device and a 3D printer believed to have been used to make parts for an attack. Investigators also found indications of plans to build a drone to attach a load. The foreign minister expressed gratitude to security services and urged vigilance while strengthening drone-counter capabilities.
