"In the texts opened to the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) businessman William McGlade, founder of House of Padel in Dublin, accused the coach of "lying about the job you're doing", "manipulation of your worth", and told him: "You're going about this the wrong way if you want to coach padel in Dublin in Ireland.""
An entrepreneur who charges €120 an hour for padel and pickleball lessons sent intimidating texts to a coach who had been let go and left short on his wages after low demand. The Workplace Relations Commission received the texts, which were shown to include accusations that the coach was "lying about the job you're doing" and engaging in "manipulation of your worth." The messages also warned the coach that he was handling his coaching career incorrectly in Dublin. A tribunal concluded that the texts were intimidating.
