Gardaí investigating the suspected murder of Kyran Durnin are focusing on text messages between a man and woman arrested on suspicion of killing the boy from Drogheda, Co Louth.
The Sunday Independent under­stands gardaí have made "substantial progress" in forensically analysing "thousands of hours" of digital ­evidence seized from three properties during searches for Kyran, who was last seen aged six.
