"An Garda Síochána appeals to anyone with any information in relation to either investigation, no matter how small or insignificant you might believe it to be to contact any garda station, or anyone who wishes to provide information confidentially should contact the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111."
Gardaí initiated a search operation at a disused quarry on the Wicklow/Kildare border on Monday, with ongoing assessment continuing. Jo Jo Dullard, aged 21, disappeared on November 9, 1995, while traveling home to Kilkenny after socializing in Dublin. She boarded a bus to Naas and hitchhiked toward home, making her last phone call at 11:37pm from a phone box. Deirdre Jacob, aged 18, went missing on July 28, 1998, near her home in Newbridge, Co Kildare, shortly after completing her first year at university. The families have been updated on search developments, and gardaí appeal for any information, however minor, through local stations or the confidential line.
