A boy believed to have been three-and-a-half when last seen is now presumed dead and would be about seven years old. Gardaí are searching an area of open land in Donabate, County Dublin as part of an active investigation. Detectives are speaking with a number of the missing boy's relatives to establish what happened to him. Investigators are examining whether the boy was killed up to four years ago and whether his death was then covered up and his remains hidden. The case remains under criminal investigation by north Dublin detectives.
