"From midnight on October 31 until midnight on November 1, the Dublin Fire Brigade received 320 fire calls, of which 276 were Halloween-related. A total of 1,042 calls were processed by the fire brigade control centre during this period. "Meanwhile, there was an increase in emergency medical services calls this year, as the fire brigade received 516 calls. This marks the largest figure recorded on Halloween in 21 years. Firefighters and paramedics responded to several fire incidents on Halloween night, including bonfires, bin fires, trees on fire, car fires, e-bikes on fire, fuel leaks, domestic fires, and flood-related incidents."
"Some of the fire and ambulance crews experienced anti-social behaviour while fulfilling their duties, a spokesperson said, however there were no reported injuries. An interactive map, created by the Dublin Fire Brigade, was available to view throughout the night and track the developing fire incidents. Fire incidents included a fire of two electric bicycles in Ballsbridge, a car fire in Kilbarrack, and a fire of tyres on a bonfire in Saggart."
