"My work exists in the space between solitude and interconnectedness, shaped by both my upbringing in post-Soviet Siberia and my ongoing artistic journey. Xenia Gray is an artist who grew up in Siberia following the Soviet Union's collapse and relocated to the United States in 2010. Her artistic practice investigates the invisible connections between individuals and the transcendent. Gray's work attempts to reconcile the personal with the infinite, isolation with unity. Her upbringing in post-Soviet Siberia, characterized by vast emptiness and suppressed emotions, profoundly influenced her artistic sensibility.
