"Fiosrú, the Office of the Police Ombudsman, has been notified of a serious late-night crash in Wexford which left a male motorcyclist in his 20s in critical condition. The road traffic accident took place around 11.45 p.m. on the R730 road between Killurin and Glynn yesterday on Monday, December 22. A spokesperson from An Garda Síochana said that the motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and is in critical condition following a crash involving the motorcycle and another car."
"The road remains closed on Tuesday morning as gardaí conduct their investigations, with an emergency road closure alert also being issued by the Roads Department of Wexford County Council to the public. Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to use alternative routes until further updates are given. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them. Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 11.30 p.m. to 12 a.m. are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí."
A late-night road traffic collision on the R730 between Killurin and Glynn on Monday, December 22 at about 11.45 p.m. left a male motorcyclist in his 20s with serious injuries and in critical condition. The motorcyclist was treated at Wexford General Hospital before being transferred to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, where he remains critical. No other injuries were reported.
