"So, it's just a low-pressure system that's coming through. It's going to be blustery on the western coasts over the weekend, and the proximity of that low pressure to the coast is coinciding with high tide. The tides will be very high between tomorrow and tomorrow night, so we're advising people to take care if they are on or near the coastlines."
"This morning will be dry, with bright or sunny spells, as temperatures during the day will range between 19 and 22C. It will turn cloudier, with patchy rain and drizzle developing in parts of the south and west in the afternoon and evening. Tonight will continue dry, with overnight temperatures dropping to 13 and 17C. However, some light showers and patchy drizzle or mist might appear in parts of the west and southwest."
Ex-Hurricane Erin has weakened into a low-pressure system and will not affect Ireland this week. The remnants will produce blustery conditions along western coasts over the weekend, with the low's proximity coinciding with high tides and elevated coastal risk. The system is continuing to weaken as it tracks northward. Morning conditions will be dry with bright or sunny spells and daytime temperatures around 19–22C. Cloud will increase with patchy rain and drizzle in the south and west later in the day. Overnight temperatures will fall to 13–17C, with possible light showers, drizzle or mist in the west and southwest. Early next week will start dry before turning cloudier and wetter in the west.
