Met Eireann issues Status Yellow rain warning for two counties with risk of spot flooding and thunderstorms

An alert for Cork and Kerry is valid from 10am Saturday to 10am Sunday, warning of spot flooding, poor visibility, and difficult travel conditions. The weather will start mostly cloudy with light rain, temperatures of 17-21C. By Saturday, rain will extend over Munster and parts of Leinster and Connacht. Though some areas remain dry with scattered showers, thunderstorms may occur. Temperatures will range from 16-21C. Strong winds are expected along southern coasts, and low pressure will continue influencing the weather through midweek.
